CROWN HEIGHTS — Three members of the Bloods street gang fatally stabbed a man wearing rival Crips colors after an argument broke out on Utica Avenue early Saturday morning, police said.

Lovelt Valentin, 23, was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest outside 309 Utica Ave. between Union and President streets around 5 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

Police from the 71st Precinct said Valentin was wearing “Crips blue” when he got into an argument with the three Bloods members, who attacked him and fled in an unknown vehicle.

Valentin was affiliated with the Crips gang and the suspects are known members of the Bloods, sources said. Police are investigating the incident as a gang-related homicide.

No one had been arrested as of Monday afternoon.

The homicide comes less than two weeks after three young men were stabbed, one fatally, by a 17-year-old following an argument on the edge of Lincoln Terrace Park, only blocks away from where Valentin was attacked.

Police said it was too early in the investigation to say whether the two incidents were connected.
