MURRAY HILL — A Greenwich Village eatery specializing in unusual varieties of chicken fingers is expanding to Murray Hill next month.

Sticky’s Finger Joint is opening its second city location, called Sticky’s 2, at 484 Third Ave. near 33rd Street on July 1, co-owner Paul Abrahamian said.

“Basically we're taking what we’ve learned from what people desire and really pushed the envelope,” said Abrahamian, 29, a Lower East Side resident. “We have a whole entire new menu.”

New chicken finger flavors debuting at the Murray Hill spot include the French Onion Supreme Fingers, with French onion sour cream, crispy shallots, chives and bacon bits, and the Cool Curry Tikka Masala Fingers, with tikka masala sauce, Sriracha, ranch dressing, crispy shallots, coconut and parsley.

Sticky's will also hold on to old favorites from its first location on West 8th Street, like the Sweet and Savory Salted Caramel Pretzel Fingers and the General Sticky Tso Fingers.

One order of chicken fingers usually comes with three pieces and prices range from $7 to $11.

Customers have a choice of 30 homemade sauces to go with their food, including chocolate chipotle BBQ, buffalo balsamic maple and parm aioli. Sauces cost $1 each.

The new location will also serve a line of chicken finger sandwiches, like the Nashville Numb, dressed with Nashville hot sauce, Sichuan pepper-salt, pickles and parsley.

Sides will include bacon mac fries, Cajun fries and new s'more fries made with cocoa powder, a homemade chocolate sauce and roasted marshmallow sauce, topped with crumbled graham crackers and parsley.

"We all have an inner child in us," Abrahamian said. "You can get french fries at any corner deli, but this is truly elevated. The second Sticky's is really elevating the french fry and chicken finger game."

The new 850-square-foot restaurant was designed by Scott Kester and will have a black and red checkerboard ceiling and red neon signs, along with a mural created by graffiti artist Jon Lavoie.

“Kester’s goal was to make the shop both a great place to eat and a fun place to hang out,” said a statement from Sticky’s. “He wanted to pair vibrant colors to match the vibrant flavors of Sticky’s food.”

Founding partners Abrahamian and Jon Sherman opened their first Sticky's location in March 2012. They're already looking for a third spot to open at the end of this year or the beginning of next year and are eyeing potential spaces in Midtown West and the Financial District, Abrahamian said.

Sticky's Finger Joint 2 will be open seven days a week starting July 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
