CROWN HEIGHTS — A verbal altercation turned violent Monday night when an attacker stabbed three people, one fatally, inside Lincoln Terrace Park, police said.

The three victims, aged 17, 18 and 21, had gotten into an argument with a man around 10:30 p.m. An hour later, he returned with friends and stabbed them, police sources said.

The 18-year-old man who was wounded in the chest, was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The 17-year-old boy sustained a stab wound to the arm and the 21-year-old man was knifed in the leg, police said. Both are in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

No weapon was recovered and the attacker hadn't been caught as of Tuesday morning, police said.
