Man Wearing Patriots Hat Steals $3,100 from Bank, NYPD Says

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police are looking to blow the whistle on a man who allegedly robbed a bank inside a shopping center while wearing a New England Patriots hat. 

The suspect passed a note to a teller at the Chase Bank at 77-01 31st Ave., inside the Jackson Heights Shopping Center, around 2:40 p.m. on June 7, police said.

Police said the suspect, who they said is around 30 to 35 years old, took off with $3,100 and fled.

He was seen in surveillance video wearing a white shirt and a Patriots hat.
