QUEENS — Two women sent a child behind a counter to steal a wallet containing $200 from a clerk in a Bayside clothing boutique, an NYPD spokesman said.

The women, whose photos were released by police, walked into the Karma Boutique, at 38-27 Bell Blvd., and started asking the clerk questions while the little girl went behind the register to swipe the wallet from a bag, police said.

The girl returned to one of the women, who put the wallet containing $200 and debit cards in her pants and the three fled, the NYPD said.

One of the women can be seen on surveillance photos wearing a black tank top while the other was clad head-to-toe in blue.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
