MANHATTAN — An 18-year-old was slashed across the left side of his head during a dispute with another man outside the Port Authority Bus Terminal Sunday night, officials said.

The teen, whose name was not released, was on Eighth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd streets about 11:30 p.m. when he and another man got into an argument that quickly escalated, the FDNY and NYPD said.

The attacker fled the scene after the slashing, and the 18-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

The attacker, who was believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was still at large Monday morning, the NYPD said.
