WILLIAMSBURG — A man threatened a taxi driver with a handgun in Williamsburg and demanded “everything” he had last weekend, according to police.

The 29-year-old cab driver picked up the man at N. 12th Street and Driggs Avenue on April 12 about 4 a.m. The passenger asked to be taken to Myrtle Avenue and Broadway, police said.

Soon after, the man pulled out a black handgun and touched the barrel to the victim’s neck. The driver said he turned back and saw the firearm, according to police.

The victim managed to escape the car and fled down N. 9th Street towards Roebling Avenue but the man chased him, police said.

The victim managed to get away without any injuries after asking a bystander to call 911.

Police said cash and a jacket were stolen.
