ASTORIA — Twist and Smash'd, a Forest Hills eatery that serves burgers and spiral-sliced "twisted" potatoes, is opening a massive second location in Astoria which will have a slew of TVs and indoor bocce ball courts, according to the owners.
Blog We Heart Astoria first wrote of the restaurant's expansion on Monday.
The new location, at 34-02 Steinway St., will be called Twist and Smash'd Sports, and will feature two bocce ball courts, plus 60 TVs for sporting fans to watch their favorite teams, owners Robert and Brianna Cano told DNAinfo.com New York.
The Astoria outpost, which replaces the former Bud's Ale House, will serve a menu similar to its original location, plus additions like nachos and wings, its owners said. It will have 41 beers on tap and outdoor patio seating in the warm weather.
The space is slated to open at the end of March or beginning of April, they said.
