CARROLL GARDENS — Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina will open their next outpost on Smith Street, according to reports.

Arthur on Smith at 276 Smith St. will be replaced by the Mexican restaurant, which filed for a liquor license Oct. 24, Grubstreet first reported.

The contemporary Italian restaurant closed earlier this month, according to reports.

The Mexican revolution-themed eatery, found at 83 Pearl St. in Manhattan’s Financial District, is decorated with vintage black-and-white-photos, weathered furniture imported from Mexico and stainless-steel guacamole stations, according to their website.

A “casual upscale” restaurant, Mad Dog & Beans is famous for their margarita menu, which includes a “Super Pinche Margarita” served in a one-liter goblet along with a coronita.

A manager at Mad Dog & Beans declined to comment.
