BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Citi Bike users on the Bed-Stuy-Clinton Hill border were dismayed this week to find a bike dock missing, but Department of Transportation officials said it will be back soon.

The Citi Bike station at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Lefferts Place was removed this week to accommodate nearby MTA work, a DOT spokesman said Wednesday. It will be returned to its place later this week, he said.

Some locals were upset they received no notification the station would disappear.

"Hey @CitiBikeNYC why did you remove our station in Bed-Stuy?" Ruth Spencer tweeted. "No warning, no notice."

The station is listed as "Out of Service" on the Citi Bike website, along with the station at Broadway and West 24th Street in Manhattan.
