Man Stole Property Worth More Than $135,000 From Home, Cops Say

SHEEPSHEAD BAY — A man broke into a Sheepshead Bay home Saturday and stole more than $135,000 in jewelry, police said.

The man entered a house at Avenue Z and East 27th Street at 9:30 p.m. by breaking through a rear window. Police said the suspect stole jewelry, watches and an iPhone.

Surveillance video released by police shows the suspect stuffing items into his pants while holding a flashlight in his mouth. He has a tattoo of a bulldog on his right shoulder and a tattoo of hands praying on his right forearm.
