BROOKLYN — A man died in a water sports accident in the Rockaway Inlet Sunday evening, cops said.
Vladislav Cheloudko, 41, was found floating in the waters behind Kingsborough Community College, 2001 Oriental Blvd., about 5 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Cheloudko was rushed to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police are investigating Cheloudko's death, but said it was possible the man had been kayaking or sailing and lost control of his vessel, a spokesman said.
The medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
