WILLIAMSBURG  — After a summer of boutique fitness studios springing up around Williamsburg, fall is bringing yet another workout option to the neighborhood.

Crossfit, the full-body workout that's taken off around the city, is hitting the Williamsburg waterfront early next month, owners of a new studio said.

The gym, operated by the owners of South Brooklyn's Columbia Street Crossfit, is slated to open in Green Desk's newly renovated building on Kent Avenue in South Williamsburg, owner Nate Larrea said.

Classes combine endurance, flexibility and strength training but use minimal equipment, Larrea said previously about the method, and at the Williamsburg studio he plans to cap classes at 20 students per session.

The studio will be the second Crossfit gym in Williamsburg, after Crossfit Virtuosity.
