FOXHURST — A Bronx man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a 24-year-old Upper West Side UPS worker Saturday morning.
Cops arrested Leroy Forest in Foxhurst on Sunday. Forest, 31, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, police said.
Abigail Lino, was leaving a nightclub in the South Bronx just after 3 a.m. when a light-colored SUV hit her at Bruckner Boulevard and Austin Place.
Lino, a supervisor at UPS, was caregiver to one of her younger sisters, who suffers from Down Syndrome.
Lino's family and friends mourned the woman's death Saturday.
"She was a good girl," Lino's cousin Doria Flaharty told DNAinfo New York. "She would always make sure her family is good and then do her own thing."
