DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A young woman is suspected of snatching another woman's iPhone on a southbound F train while her two friends held the victim back, police said.
The NYPD released photos of three women they said ganged up on a passenger on the F train at Jay Street-Borough Hall in order to steal her smartphone on July 29 at 6 p.m., police said.
One woman in a white tank top took the victim's phone, while her two friends, both wearing straw fedoras in the photos, pinned the woman to prevent her from retrieving her phone, cops said.
Police did not have age ranges on the suspects, a spokeswoman said.
No injuries were reported by the victim, police said.
