
NEW YORK CITY — A blaze broke out in the Lower East Side's Bowery Hotel Thursday morning, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
The fire sparked on the 14th floor of the upscale hotel, located at 335 Bowery St., about 11:40 a.m., she said.
It was brought under control about 20 minutes later, according to the FDNY.
The fire was contained to an electrical room.
No injuries were reported.
