MANHATTAN — Two men walked into a West Village McDonald’s early Sunday morning, but they weren’t hungry for burgers.

Shortly before 5 a.m., the men knocked on the locked door of the fast food chain, and a security guard let them in to the 208 Varick St. location, the NY Post reported. That's when one of the men pulled out a silver revolver and demanded cash, police said.

The men forced the guard into a bathroom and locked it, the Post reported, then ordered the rest of the employees on the floor, swiping $200 in cash from one of them, and stealing $2,800 from the safe, the paper said.

A manager at McDonald’s said he couldn’t talk about the robbery because of the ongoing police investigation.
