
QUEENS — A Rosedale man died after being stabbed in the back Saturday night.
Police found Aaron Jefferson, 18, lying down unconscious near 148-25 89th Ave. at about 10:22 p.m. with stab wounds to his back and arm. He was sent to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the FDNY said.
The incident happened outside on the street, and Sunday morning cops were investigating what led up to the stabbing. They had not found any witnesses or made any arrests, police said.
The fatal stabbing happened less than ten minutes after another stabbing two miles away in South Richmond Hill.
At 10:17 p.m., a 46-year-old man was stabbed in the chest near 125-14 Liberty Ave. He was transported to Jamaica Hospital and was in serious condition, police said.
A suspect was arrested at the scene.
