PARK SLOPE — Perpetually packed Fonda restaurant could soon be getting some breathing room.
Fonda chef Roberto Santibañez has applied for a liquor license at 427B Seventh Ave., the space that was until recently occupied by Beer Table, according to New York State Liquor Authority records.
The former Beer Table space is right across the street from Fonda's bustling Seventh Avenue location between 14th and 15th streets, where droves of diners line up nightly for Santibañez's high-end Mexican cuisine and hibiscus-infused Rosalita margaritas.
The restaurant also has a location on Avenue B on the Lower East Side.
Requests for comment from Fonda representatives were not immediately returned.
