NEW YORK CITY — A man was arrested Thursday for dragging a woman into an alleyway near Brooklyn College and raping her before running off with her belongings earlier this year, cops said.
Eric Darcy, 25, is expected to be brought up on rape, assault, and robbery charges, after attacking the 22-year-old woman on Feb. 2 near East 27th Street and Glenwood Road, according to the NYPD.
After raping the woman, Darcy ripped away her property and fled, eluding law enforcement for months until he was finally arrested on Thursday, police said.
He is also expected to be charged with commiting a criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, criminal posession of stolen property and sexual abuse, cops said.
