QUEENS — A burglar stole a debit card and used it to buy a drill and pair of glasses from a Long Island City Home Depot earlier this month, the NYPD said.

Police released a surveillance image of the man, who allegedly stole the debit card from a 40th Street home in Sunnyside on May 1.

The image shows the suspect walking down one of the store's aisles, carrying the drill and glasses, clad in a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident or the man's whereabouts is asked the call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 877-577-TIPS (8477). Members of the public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website, or by texting tips to CRIMES (274637), then entering TIP577.
