NEW YORK CITY — Armed with a syringe and fake gun a would-be thief tried to rob his cab driver in Queens, but when the driver refused to comply, the suspect fled empty-handed, cops said.
The suspect hopped into the yellow cab about 9:50 p.m. Friday near 108th Street and 63rd Drive, in Forest Hills, and immediately demanded money, according to the NYPD.
But when the driver refused, the suspect fled with nothing, police said.
Cops described the suspect as having brown hair, a light beard, and in his late 20s.
