Man Shot Two Strangers in Bed-Stuy, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man shot two strangers on a Bed-Stuy street after an argument, police said.

The suspect, described as a 19 to 20-year old male with long braids, shot the people near Van Buren Street and Throop Avenue, around 10:20 p.m. on March 20.

Police said the incident occured after a verbal dispute as the two victims walked past the man, who was not known to them.

One victim received a bullet wound to his left leg and the other receieved a gunshot wound to the right arm and buttocks, NYPD said. Neither injury was life threatening.

Both victims were taked to local hospitals and are in stable condition.
