Six Men Sought in 72nd Street Nightclub Slashing, Police Say

UPPER WEST SIDE — The NYPD released photos of six men wanted for questioning in connection to a vicious knife attack at an Upper West Side nightclub early Friday morning.

A 30-year-old man was slashed in the neck at 2:30 a.m. Friday inside the Columbus 72 Club at 246 Columbus Ave., police said. The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover, officials said.

Police are still investigating the incident.

The six men are described as between the ages of 20 - 30 years old, and are described as "persons of interest."

One man, aged 25-30, stands 6-feet-tall with black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white button down sweater and jeans, police said.

Another man is a 25-30 year old male, standing between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-8-inches tall with tattoo sleeves on both arms, police said. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt and jeans.

The third person of interest is believed to be 25 years old male, between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-7-inches. He was last seen wearing an orange long sleeve shirt with "KR3W" in black letters on the front and jeans.

The fourth person of interest is a 20-25-year-old male, with a black goatee, police said. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

The sixth suspect is 20-25 years old with close cut hair, and was last seen wearing a leather and cloth jacket with the letter "S" on the left hand side, blue sweatshirt and jeans.
