HARLEM — Two people were shot in broad daylight near City College Thursday afternoon, officials said.

A 17-year-old boy was grazed in the leg and a 55-year-old man was shot in the hip at the corner of West 136th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, in front of Sum Hing Chinese Food, just after 2 p.m., the FDNY said.

Both were taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

Robert Izzo, who works at the New York Women's Chamber of Commerce on Amsterdam Avenue, said he heard the gunfire from inside the office.

"I heard a shot and two teenaged boys run right past my window the second after the shot was fired," Izzo said. "They bolted uptown [toward 136th Street] and then the cops showed up within minutes."

Police did not immediately have information about the shooting.
