Off-Duty Cop Arrested for Menacing in Brooklyn, NYPD Says

CROWN HEIGHTS — An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested early Monday and charged with menacing, police said.

Police Officer Jim Paul, 34, was taken into custody just after 2 a.m. in the confines of the 71st Precinct, police said.

The NYPD did not specify the details of the incident or who Paul allegedly menaced.

He has been suspended, police said.
