WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — An accident on the George Washington Bridge caused major traffic delays on Friday, officials said.

Two tractor-trailers and a passenger car crashed shortly before noon near the New Jersey side of the bridge's upper level, halting all westbound traffic on the upper level, the Port Authority said. Eastbound traffic on the upper level was delayed as well.

There were no injuries in the crash, the Port Authority said, and traffic was moving in both directions on the bridge's lower level.
