MIDTOWN — An MTA bus fatally struck a 33-year-old woman at the corner of West 59th Street and Seventh Avenue Wednesday night, police said.

Aileen Martinez, of 87 Hamilton Place in Hamilton Heights, was struck when the driver made a turn south onto Seventh Avenue after heading eastbound along 59th Street, the NYPD said.

She was taken to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and pronunced dead, cops said. There is no criminality suspected.

The MTA is investigating the accident and has suspended the driver from behind-the-wheel work, a spokesman for the agency noted.
