Man Shot to Death Near Neptune Avenue in Brooklyn, Police Say

Cops found a dead 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest on Wednesday December 19, 2012.

SEA GATE — A 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and killed on Neptune Avenue Wednesday evening, according to the NYPD.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to near West 36th Street about 6 p.m., police said.

Emergency medical crews pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

The circumstances of the homicide remain unclear and police said the investigation is ongoing.
