BRONX — A 69-year-old man crossing a Mott Haven street was killed Thursday afternoon after he was struck by a tractor-trailer, authorities said.

Ignecio Cubano was hit at the corner of East 138th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue about 1:25 p.m., police said.

The truck, a 1987 Peterbilt tractor-trailer, was traveling north on St. Ann's Avenue and was making a right turn onto East 138th Street when it slammed into Cubano, who was crossing East 138th Street from south to north, officials said.

The victim, who lived around the corner, was pronounced dead at the scene, the FDNY and NYPD said.

Police were still investigating Thursday night but said no criminality was suspected.
