East Flatbush Man Killed in Hit-and-Run

An East Flatbush man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run on November 17, 2012.

EAST FLATBUSH — A 23-year-old man was struck and killed by a driver that didn't stop early Saturday, police said.

Jason Williams, who lived a block away from the scene on Nostrand Avenue, was running north on Nostrand at 3:37 a.m. when a westbound red SUV slammed into him at Foster Avenue, police said.

When police arrived, Williams was suffering from severe body trauma from the impact, and the SUV had fled the scene, police said.

Williams was rushed to Kings County Hospital but declared dead on arrival.

No arrests have been made with regard to the incident, and police said an investigation was ongoing.
