Man Stabbed to Death in Woodside

A man was found stabbed to death in Woodside, Queens on August 27, 2012

QUEENS — A man was killed after being stabbed in the neck and shoulder in Woodside on Sunday, police said.

Cops responding to a 911 call found the victim, Enrique Morales Martinez, 37, at 69th Street and Woodside Ave at 4:30 p.m. Morales Martinez was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. 

The NYPD said a suspect, Ramiro Martinez, 28, was arrested and charged Monday with murder in the second degree, and possession of a weapon.

Both men were found to be homeless, the NYPD said.
