Police Search for Suspect in Gunpoint Sex Assault, Robbery in Queens

QUEENS — Police are hunting a 40-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting and robbing a woman at gunpoint in Ridgewood late Sunday night.

Joshua Robles allegedly flashed a firearm and attacked the 20-year-old victim on Greene Avenue just before midnight, the NYPD said. He then stole her purse and fled, police added.

The woman sustained minor injuries, but was not transported to a hospital, police said.

Cops described Robles as standing about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
