MANHATTAN — Funnyman Chris Rock joined actress/director Julie Delpy Wednesday night for the premiere of their new film "2 Days in New York," about a couple with children from prior marriages dealing with a tumultous family visit.
The movie, a sequel to "2 Days in Paris," was directed and co-written by Delpy along with screenwriter Alexia Landeau, who also stars in the film.
The actors were joined by Rev. Al Sharpton, Rusell Simmons, Tyra Banks, Ice-T and Aaron Carter at the premiere, held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema on East Houston Street.
The film opens Aug. 10 in New York after debuting in Europe this past spring.
