BROOKLYN — A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Crown Heights Tuesday night, the NYPD reported.
Martin Thomas, of 902 Drew St. in Lindenwood, was shot in the torso at 1324 St. Johns Pl. shortly after 7:30 p.m., police said.
Another victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot in the right leg, cops added.
Both men were taken to Kings County Hospital, where Thomas died. The other victim, whose identity was not released, was stable, police said.
It was unclear what sparked the shooting.
Thomas, however, had run-ins with the law before. He had been arrested 18 times since 2000, sources said, for charges like robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing.
