Two Hurt in Overturned Golf Cart at Sixth Hole of Staten Island Course

STATEN ISLAND — Two people were injured on Monday afternoon when their golf cart overturned at the sixth hole at Staten Island's Silver Lake course, fire officials said.

The cart incident occurred just before 4 p.m. at the public golf course.

The victims' injuries were not immediately clear. A fire official said the two were not immediately taken to a hospital, but were being brought to the course's field house for evaluation.
