NEW YORK — A man was struck by a car in Briarwood on Wednesday, fire officials said.
A FDNY spokesman said a car hit the man, who was about 30 years old, near the intersection of Hillside Avenue and 148th Street around 7 p.m.
The man was sent to Jamaica Hospital, the spokesman said.
The extent of his injuries was not immediately known, he added, but the man was awake and breathing when emergency crews arrived.
