QUEENS — Police are investigating the killing of a 27-year-old woman who was found with severe head trauma inside an Astoria apartment Tuesday night, the NYPD said.

Cops discovered the body of Danielle Thomas at 28-25 33rd St. about 7:30 p.m., after police received a report of an unconscious female at that location.

Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The daughter of the superintendent at the apartment building where Thomas lived, who declined to give her name, said Thomas moved into the apartment about four months ago.

She said that several neighbors have complained about yelling coming from inside the apartment but said she did not interact much with Thomas while she lived in the building.

It was not immediately clear what caused Thomas' injuries.
