Man Dies After Crashing All-Terrain Vehicle in Queens, Cops Say

QUEENS — A man driving an all-terrain vehicle on a Lindenwood street died after slamming it into a curb and getting thrown from the vehicle Sunday night, authorities said.

Jesus Hernandez, 27, of Belmont Avenue in East New York, lost control of the ATV while driving northbound on 77th Street about 9:40 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He then crashed into a curb outside 155-29 77th St. and was ejected from the ATV, suffering head injuries, cops noted.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead, police added.

There is no criminality suspected.
