NYPD Issues Public Call for Robbery Suspects in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a woman on a Brooklyn subway train.

The two men are suspected of approaching a 28-year-old woman May 6 at the Lorimer Street L train station, and forcibly swiping her money and cell phone before fleeing.

One man was last seen wearing a white tanktop, black pants, a red baseball cap, black glasses and white gloves. The other man was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans, black and white sneakers, and a blue and white baseball cap.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
