HARLEM — A garbage compactor in a Lenox Avenue high-rise building caught fire Monday morning, fire officials said.

The trash ignited just before 10 a.m. on the third-floor of 630 Lenox Avenue, a 17-story building near West 142nd Street, an FDNY spokesman said.

There were no reported injuries, the spokesman said.

The blaze too 60 firefighters from 12 units to get under control.
