BUSHWICK — The big weekend is just more than two weeks away — and now eager viewers can start plotting their course for Bushwick Open Studios' sixth annual art extravaganza.
The directory of 454 art spaces went live online last night, including a Google map of the exhibits and more details about the June 1-3 festival.
Folks can search the site for venues that offer alcohol (for free or purchase), dish up food, welcome children, include Spanish guides, and include interactive elements — to name a few criteria.
The dozens of exhibits include painting, photo, installation, music and film, and the free festival's launch party kicks off June 1 at 6 pm, on 44 Wilson Avenue. This year's event also has its own iPhone app.
For impatient aesthetes, a preview and benefit show this Sunday offers an in-person sneak-peek at participants' work, as well as a raffle of their pieces. This weekend's party is from 6-9 p.m. at Grace Exhibition Space at 940 Broadway.
