Police Hunt Bank Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for the man who robbed a bank in the Midwood section of Brooklyn this week.

At about 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, a man entered the Capital One Bank at 1226 Kings Highway and slipped a note to a teller, demanding money, police said.

The teller handed over a stack of cash of undetermined amount, and the man fled in an unknown direction.

Witnesses described the man as 20 to 25 years old, about 5-feet-8 to 6-feet, 170 to 180 pounds, with facial hair, police reported. He was last seeing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ponytail under a grey fedora-style hat.
