BROOKLYN — A deaf 5-year-old boy was clinging to life after being struck by a cab in Cobble Hill over the weekend, according to police and reports.

The boy, Timothy Keith, was on his way to the Brooklyn Bridge with his parents Saturday when he was hit while trying to cross Hicks Street near Amity Street about 4:40 p.m., police and CBS New York reported.

He remains in “extremely critical condition,” an NYPD spokesman added.

There is no criminality suspected in the incident, cops said.

The boy was visiting New York from Washington, D.C.,  CBS reported.
