Suspect Wanted for Stealing Woman's Chain in Bedford Park

Cops have a photo of the suspect who allegedly ripped a chain off a woman's neck last month

THE BRONX — Cops are on the hunt for a man they said ripped a woman's chain off her neck in an elevator last month.

The suspect followed the woman into an elevator at 2690 Morris Ave. and reached around her neck to rip off the chain she was wearing on March 8 at 3:20 p.m., NYPD officials said.

The suspect, a 5-foot-6-inch man who was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, fled the scene on foot.
