MANHATTAN — Reebok's Tim Tebow Jets jerseys are out of bounds for now.

A judge tossed a flag at the sporting apparel giant Wednesday, barring it from selling Tebow's Jets jerseys, which became hot commodities following the Heisman Trophy winner's trade to Gang Green last week, reports said.

U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel blocked Reebok from selling any apparel with the former Denver Bronco's name on it unless it was made before March 1 and is Broncos-related, the Associated Press reported.

A hearing on the issue is set for next week, according to reports.

Reebok International Ltd. got the judicial stiff-arm after Nike sued its rival, claiming Reebok was selling Tebow's new Jets jersey without permission.

Nike is poised to take over from Reebok as the official supplier of NFL gear on Sunday.
