Man Attacked Elderly Woman in her Queens Home, Police Say

QUEENS — A man asked an elderly Queens woman for a glass of water, then sexually assaulted her at knifepoint when she let him into her home, police said.

The man asked for a drink when the woman, 67, was entering her apartment at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27.  She invited him into her apartment, then he pulled out a knife and attacked her. 

The assailant is described as between 45 and 65 years old, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds.
