BROOKLYN — A man died after seven floors from an Ocean Parkway building early Wednesday, officials said.
The victim was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m. after plunging from a seventh-floor apartment at 1750 Ocean Parkway, police and fire officials said.
Bashkin Qosha, 33, the building's super, said he didn't hear the fall.
"I had the window closed in the back when he fell," he said.
"I was in the living room sleeping. My wife said, 'Somebody's stealing something,' because there were so many police."
The victim was not immediately identified.
An NYPD spokesman said the fall did not appear to be suspicious, and that it was likely a suicide. The police investigation is ongoing.
A police source said the man lived in the building.
"He hasn't been there for months," the source said.
Qosha added that the man returned to the apartment Tuesday evening with a lot of packages.
"He forgot the key for the apartment...so I let him in there for half an hour to bring in the stuff," he said. "He didn't look upset."
