Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a robbery inside an Upper West Side church. (NYPD)

MANHATTAN — Police are hunting a man for allegedly snatching a wallet out of a woman’s purse inside an Upper West Side church.

The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ at 2504 Broadway, near W. 93rd St., on Jan. 23, police said.

The suspect was described as being about 25-years-old and wearing a dark-colored jacket with a hood and toggle-style buttons on the front.
