Red Lobster to Open in Harlem Next to the Apollo Theater Updated February 9, 2012 6:23pm

HARLEM — After checking out Amateur Night at the Apollo, you may soon be able to head next door for some popcorn shrimp at Red Lobster.

The seafood chain will open at 261-267 W. 125th St., next to the famed Apollo Theater, in a 9,500-square-foot, bi-level space by the end of the year, the New York Post reported.

The restaurant will reportedly have a 1,500-square-foot entrance and 300 seats, and will sit inside the$14 million retail complex being developed next to the Apollo.

Red Lobster did not immediately return a call for comment.
